Basically education is not only for diploma purposes. It is a need that each individual must have. The journey of educating oneself,the perseverance with sweat and blood for years of endeavor is not only for the degree reasons. Education is more than that.It is feeding oneself the food for knowledge that will serve as a tool for a man to regulate his life.The wisdom that he acquire will be his armor in life's challenges.
Being a part of the field which concern is to mold the minds of the youth, I have principles for what education is all about. For me, "Education is life's greatest equalizer". Imagine a fruit salad without cream or without milk instead. Life is like that, a journey without learning is a like dancing without meaning. As an educator, the purpose and plan for my future teaching is vivid. First, light up the fire instead of filling up the pail. Burning the fuel within the learner's mind is one of the best way to awaken their the passion to learn.Second teach learner the real life context for a genuine learning. Third, teach them to love whatever they are doing remember,the happiness lies on the appreciation of their duty. Lastly, be a "FRIEND" to your learners because a perfectionist teacher feed only the cognitive side, but a great mentor touches the heart of his learner.Once a wise teacher said, "an educator affects eternity" indeed so true nothing compares to the influence brought by teaching with heart and soul.
Being friendly is one of the best factors for you to be liked by your students. Let's just make sure that we have a gap between them, as students, and us, as teachers. This is a good write up already, yet, i want you to explore and enhance more on your skill. I know you have a lot of things in your mind that you wanted to talk about the topic.
